Reflection:

 

TITAS has given me the opportunity to revisit the history the iconic civilisations; which includes both Islamic and Asian Civilisation. It was quiet difficult for me to cope with the workload of TITAS, trying to juggle exams and academics and MPU subject. However, I am happy that I am able to juggle and completed two major assignments with my team members Imran, Beverly, Anaz and Wenyun.

 

We were given two major projects, the first was to research on the interaction between Western and Islamic, Asian Civilisation. We divided the work and prepared the powerpoint slides, research papers, written report and rehearsed our presentation. The second project was to choose a Historical landmark/building in Malaysia that represents the ancient Islamic and Asian civilisation. We chose Masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, also known as the Blue Mosque (Masjid Biru) or Masjid Shah Alam.

 

The biggest challenge for me was to find time to shoot the video, edit and record the voice overs (narration) for the video presentation. While my other members were in charged of the written report, I was in charge of the video. It was tough, trying to match the footage, pictures and narration. But in the end, I am grateful that it is completed. I have learnt so much from these projects; I learnt to work with my peers, present my ideas, edit videos and last but not least learnt about the history of Islamic Civilisation in Malaysia.
