Seminar

Seminar sessions are held in Semester 1 and Semester 2. Students are divided into four groups, each group consisting of 10-11 people. Then each week, one of the groups will be given a subject and a specific topic to present.

It is an individual presentation, hence we are to research and study our individual topics and prepare powerpoint slides. Our presentation should not exceed 10 minutes. Questions from peers and lecturers will be asked after each presentation.

I enjoy seminars very much, as it is teaches me to be independant and pro-active in doing my research. I am grateful to have good lecturers to guide me and correct me when I made a mistake. Seminar sessions also provide a stage for us to explore our potentials; nevertheless it builds confidence and prepares us for the medical field.
